The work on Honley Library has been completed… almost. There are just a few bits and bobs to attend to but, for those who have been unable to come and look inside, here are some pictures.

The new sky lights and windows make everywhere look so much brighter.

The new carpet makes the space look bigger.

A new storeroom means that we once again have a full sized children’s area.

The new entrance will keep the heat in more efficiently.

A toilet, for use by library customers only, provides baby-changing facilities and plenty of space for those with a disability.

A new meeting space is bright and welcoming.

Look out for news of an ‘official opening’ during October.
