Set within the closed walls of the Vatican, 118 cardinals meet to cast their votes in one of the world’s most secretive elections. Secrets, scandals and rivalries are exposed as the world waits to see who will be chosen.
This book received mostly positive reviews. We generally enjoyed learning about the conclave procedure, the fast paced storyline and following Lamelli’s journey as he investigates his fellow Cardinals. The final twist was thought provoking but not very realistic.
The audio book and film were also recommended.
